“Race for Glory” — Official Shortlist Unveiled for 2026 Ballon d’Or Awards

France Football, the organizers of the Ballon d’Or, have officially unveiled the nominees for the 2026 edition across multiple categories ahead of the grand gala set to take place in London, UK, on October 26, 2026.
The announcement kickstarted the rollout of shortlists across 12 award categories, featuring top global clubs, managers, young prospects, and elite stars following an action-packed football season and World Cup year.

Shortlists Announced So Far

• Men's Club of the Year Nominees: Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Bodø/Glimt, Flamengo, and Paris Saint-Germain.
• Women's Club of the Year Nominees: FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Club América, Manchester City, and OL Lyonnes.
• Men's Coach of the Year Nominees: Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Luis de la Fuente (Spain), Unai Emery (Aston Villa), Vincent Kompany (Bayern Munich), and Luis Enrique (Paris Saint-Germain).
• Men's Kopa Trophy (Young Talent) Nominees: Kerim Alajbegović, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Pau Cubarsí, Yan Diomandé, Lennart Karl, Éli Junior Kroupi, Lamine Yamal, Johan Manzambi, Ibrahim Maza, and Warren Zaïre-Emery.
• Yachine Trophy (Goalkeeper of the Year) Nominees: Yassine Bounou, Thibaut Courtois, Joan García, Gregor Kobel, Emiliano Martínez, Édouard Mendy, David Raya, Matvey Safonov, Unai Simón, and Vozinha.
