Ogun 2027: APC Candidate Yayi Promises Inclusive Development for Egbaland

The governorship candidate of the APC for the 2027 Ogun State election, Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has pledged to prioritise development across Egbaland if elected governor.
Speaking during a visit to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Adeola said his administration would focus on infrastructure and initiatives aimed at improving economic growth and living standards across Ogun Central.
The senator stated that although he currently represents Ogun West in the National Assembly, he has facilitated projects in Ogun Central, including roads, educational support, health facilities, water projects and public infrastructure.
Describing Abeokuta as his maternal home, Adeola said his government would be inclusive and ensure Egbaland receives strong representation and attention in governance.
During the visit, the traditional ruler offered prayers and goodwill ahead of the 2027 election.
