“Not For Sale” — Galatasaray Shut Door on Victor Osimhen Summer Exit, Reject Mega Bids from Top European Clubs

Turkish champions Galatasaray have officially ruled out selling Nigerian star striker Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window, shutting the door on interest from several of Europe’s elite clubs. Rams Park outfit has turned down massive offers—including a proposal worth up to €125 million from Spanish heavyweights Atlético Madrid, as well as concrete inquiries from Manchester United.

The 27-year-old Super Eagles forward enjoyed an exceptional debut campaign in Istanbul, scoring 35 goals in all competitions and delivering seven assists as Galatasaray clinched a fourth consecutive Süper Lig title and reached the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. Osimhen also etched his name into club history by becoming the fastest player to score 50 goals for Galatasaray, hitting the milestone in just 59 appearances.

With Osimhen under contract until June 2029 and no buyout clause attached to his deal, Galatasaray hold total control over his future. Rather than cashing in on a blockbuster fee, the Turkish giants plan to make Osimhen their cornerstone leader by handing him the iconic No. 9 shirt and naming him club captain for their upcoming Champions League campaign.
