Nasarawa Government Allegedly Blocks Ex-IGP Mohammed Adamu from Public Venue for Agro-Empowerment Scheme

The organizers of an agricultural empowerment initiative spearhead by retired Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate, Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, have accused government officials of blocking access to a designated public facility in Nasarawa North.

Despite the alleged denial, the second phase of the agro-empowerment programme went ahead after securing an alternative location at the National Headquarters of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC) in Akwanga. The exercise distributed farm inputs, heavy machinery, and financial grants to rural farmers across the Akwanga, Nassarawa Eggon, and Wamba Local Government Areas.
