A new YouTube talk series titled “INFLUENTIAL” has been launched to showcase Africa’s rising talents across beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, and entrepreneurship. The show was created by Nigerian media personality and cultural tastemaker Kevin David.
According to David, the series aims to spotlight talented Africans who are shaping culture and trends globally but whose stories often go unnoticed. The programme features conversations with celebrity beauty experts, fashion designers, hospitality innovators, and social media influencers, giving viewers a deeper look into the continent’s creative industry.
Each episode explores the personal journeys, creative processes, and real-life experiences of influential figures, moving beyond the polished images seen on social media to present a more authentic narrative of their work and impact.
The show is filmed both in a studio setting and on location, reflecting the dynamic environments in which many creatives operate. David said the goal is to keep the content “fun, authentic, and unfiltered,” while inspiring emerging entrepreneurs and creatives across Africa.
New episodes of INFLUENTIAL are released weekly on Kevin David’s official YouTube channel, alongside behind-the-scenes content for subscribers.
