Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah have reached a full agreement with German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig to sign 19-year-old Nigerian winger Sani Suleiman. The transfer package is reportedly valued between €9 million and €10 million, inclusive of performance-related add-ons.
The former Flying Eagles star only completed a move to RB Leipzig from Slovakian club AS Trenčín in January. However, facing stiff competition for first-team minutes in Germany, Suleiman emerged as a top transfer target for Al-Qadsiah, who accelerated negotiations to beat out interest from English Championship outfit West Ham United.
“Saudi club, Al-Qadsiah, have reached full agreement with Bundesliga outfit, RB Leipzig, for Sani Suleiman... The deal is worth between €9m and €10m, including bonuses. Talks over personal terms are ongoing with Suleiman.”
— Rudi Galetti
Discussions regarding personal terms between the Saudi club and the player's representatives are currently ongoing to finalize the transfer before the summer window closes.
