Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), has been widely commended following his inclusion in the prestigious Chambers and Partners 2026 Rankings as a Senior Statesman in Dispute Resolution. A recognition that shows his decades‑long contribution to legal practice and constitutional law.
Philanthropist and House of Representatives aspirant Igbekele Ayodele hailed the accolade as “well deserved” and a source of pride for both Ekiti State and Nigeria, emphasising Olanipekun’s role in mentoring generations of legal practitioners and strengthening the nation’s judicial system.
Olanipekun, principal partner of Wole Olanipekun & Co, built a reputation over decades for principled advocacy and significant contributions in constitutional and commercial dispute resolution. Ayodele described the global distinction as affirmation of his “unwavering commitment to the rule of law in Nigeria and beyond.”
President Bola Tinubu has also recognised the senior advocate’s achievement, saying the honour affirms Olanipekun’s excellence and lasting influence on legal thought, democratic institutions and jurisprudence in the country.
