A former member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly has sponsored 3,000 students to register for the 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination, offering significant support to youths seeking tertiary education.

The initiative, announced in Kaduna, is aimed at easing the financial burden on families and encouraging more students from low-income backgrounds to pursue higher education opportunities.

Beneficiaries of the Shehu ABG Foundation sponsorship will have their JAMB registration fees fully covered, ensuring that they can participate in the national entrance examination without facing economic constraints.

Shehu ABG describes the gesture as part of his commitment to youth empowerment and educational advancement, urging other individuals and organisations to invest in the future of Nigeria’s young people.

Parents and community leaders have praised the effort, saying it will boost access to education for many who might otherwise struggle to afford the cost of sitting the national exam.
