“Fast-Start Record” — Chelsea Create Premier League History Despite 2-1 Comeback Defeat to Arsenal
Omoyeni Olabode

Despite suffering a 2-1 defeat against reigning champions Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Chelsea set a new Premier League record by becoming the first team in the competition's history to score inside the opening five minutes of each of their first three matches of a season.
The Blues stunned the home crowd when summer signee Morgan Rogers connected with a loose ball and volleyed past David Raya just 77 seconds into the match. This followed similar lightning-fast starts in Chelsea's opening two league fixtures, cementing an unprecedented streak in Premier League history.
The result leaves Arsenal joint-top of the Premier League table alongside Manchester City with a perfect 9 points from three matches, while Chelsea remain on 6 points following their first defeat under Alonso.
