Atiku Abubakar Says Only African Democratic Congress Can Rescue Nigeria

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has declared that only the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is capable of rescuing Nigeria from its current economic and security challenges. During the inauguration of the ADC office in Taraba State’s capital, Jalingo, he urged citizens to register to vote and join the party’s mission for national recovery.
Atiku argued that existing parties—including those he previously belonged to—have repeatedly failed Nigerians, delivering “insecurity, hunger, poverty, unemployment” instead of progress. He said ADC offers a fresh start and a realistic alternative for those seeking meaningful change.
He also called on youths, women, and all eligible voters to obtain their voter cards and participate in upcoming elections, describing it as the first step toward reclaiming the country’s future.
What do you think — can ADC truly offer the change Atiku promises, or is this just political rhetoric ahead of 2027? Share your thoughts in the comments.
