King Mitchy, Abuja Hospital

Prime Care Hospitals in Abuja has publicly debunked widespread social media claims that popular content creator Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, died at its facility, dismissing the alleged incident as unfounded and misleading.

In a statement shared on its official Instagram page on Saturday, the hospital clarified that King Mitchy was never admitted to the facility, nor did she pass away there, directly contradicting earlier reports circulating online.

The clarification came after a viral announcement, reportedly from King Mitchy’s management team, claimed she had been rushed to Prime Care Hospitals following the alleged ingestion of a harmful substance and later died, despite medical efforts to save her life.

Prime Care Hospitals’ statement described these claims as false information and emphasised that no medical records exist indicating she was treated there. The hospital said it is working with authorities to trace the source of the misinformation and warned it would pursue legal action against anyone responsible for spreading the unfounded reports.

The conflicting accounts have sparked confusion and concern among fans and followers of the social media personality, and as of the time of reporting, King Mitchy’s death has not been independently verified by family members or official sources.

This development highlights ongoing issues with unverified information spreading through social platforms, and the hospital urged the public to always verify sensitive news through official channels before sharing.
