Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright, has shared an emotional revelation about the painful personal history that drove her into the film industry, revealing that she originally took up acting as a desperate mechanism to stay visible to her children after losing custody of them.

Speaking as a panelist at a public event, the movie star opened up about the hidden struggles behind her early rise to stardom. She explained that her entry into the movie scene was never motivated by a desire for fame, wealth, or a glamorous career, but rather by the heartbreak of maternal separation.

“I actually started acting so that when my children grow up, they would be able to, at least... know where to find me. I never thought of being a star,” she confessed.
