Phyna Accuses VeryDarkMan of Making Sexual Advances During Late Sister's Justice Campaign

Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Phyna, has leveled explosive new allegations against popular social media critic and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM). Phyna claims that their highly publicized fallout during her late sister's justice campaign stemmed from her rejecting his sexual advances.

The roots of the dispute trace back to August 2025, when Phyna's younger sister, Ruth Otabor, tragically passed away following an accident involving a Dangote Cement truck in Edo State. Phyna had initially reached out to VDM to use his platform to pressure the company for accountability. However, VDM abruptly withdrew from the case, publicly accusing Phyna of "betrayal" and claiming she had gone behind his back to secretly negotiate a financial settlement with the company—an accusation Phyna vehemently denied at the time.

Breaking her silence over the weekend, Phyna claimed that VDM’s sudden hostility and withdrawal were actually retaliatory. Taking to her social media handles, she shared screenshots of alleged WhatsApp conversations to back up her claims that the critic attempted to sleep with her, asserting that he turned the public against her solely because his romantic advances were rejected.

With both public figures standing their ground, the messy revelation has completely shifted public attention from the original legal dispute back into a full-blown social media war.
