Temi Otedola says she found out about pregnancy during honeymoon

Opening up about the journey, the 30-year-old daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola shared that they discovered the pregnancy during their honeymoon getaway at the end of 2025.

“After wrapping up three weddings in 2025, we wanted to end the year with a 2-month, digital-detoxed honeymoon, travelling across Korea and Japan. That's when we found out! We are beyond excited to start our family and welcome a little one to our cocoon of two,” she stated.

Temi admitted that keeping the secret from family and friends was an incredibly special experience, noting that they surprised loved ones across different continents by presenting ultrasound printouts. She also opened up about the physical demands of her first trimester, describing it as a period marked by intense exhaustion and "all-day sickness," but added that she has grown to love how pregnancy has forced her to embrace a slower pace of life.

The expectant mother captioned her announcement with a biblical quote from Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” The post quickly went viral, pulling in hundreds of thousands of likes and thousands of congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and family members—including Temi's sister, DJ Cuppy, who enthusiastically celebrated that she is going to be an aunt.

The milestone follows a beautiful chapter for the couple, who marked their first court wedding anniversary earlier this month after hosting a series of breathtaking wedding celebrations across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland in 2025.
