Nollywood actress Oyebade Adebimpe, popular known as Mo Bimpe, has opened up about the emotional challenges she faced during her period of waiting before motherhood, revealing that friends stopped inviting her to children's birthday parties simply because she didn't have a child at the time.
Recounting how people subtly excluded her from social gatherings centered around kids, Mo Bimpe explained how those actions hurt her deeply while she was praying for a child of her own.
“People stopped inviting me to children's birthday parties because I didn't have a child... It was a very subtle kind of exclusion, but it hurt deeply. You don't realize how much these small actions affect someone who is privately trusting God for a miracle. People need to show more empathy and compassion toward women in their waiting season.”

The actress, who welcomed a set of triplet boys (Abdulrahman, Abdulraheem, and Abdulrakeeb) with her actor husband, Lateef Adedimeji, in April 2026 urged the public to treat women who are waiting for children with greater sensitivity and kindness.
