“Picked Up in Ajah” — BBNaija Star Tacha Reportedly Arrested After Ignoring Three Police Invitations

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tacha, has reportedly been arrested by officers of the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF-NCCC).
According to media personality and Best of Nollywood (BON) CEO Seun Oloketuyi, the reality TV star was taken into custody at her Ajah residence in Lagos after repeatedly ignoring official police summon. Reports indicate that the police unit had extended three separate invitations to Tacha between May and August 2026, which she failed to honor.

While official details surrounding the investigation remain unconfirmed by police spokespersons, reports link the arrest to a public cyber-defamation complaint stemming from a social media video Tacha posted in March 2026. In the viral clip, she publicly accused an unidentified man of rape and human trafficking. The allegations reportedly disrupted the individual's employment and international visa prospects, prompting a formal petition to the police cybercrime unit.
