Seyi Vibez Deletes Controversial Posts About Hilda Baci Following ₦1bn Lawsuit Threat

Seyi Vibez has deleted defamatory posts directed at celebrity chef Hilda Baci on X after receiving a formal legal warning. The singer recieved a cease-and-desist letter issued by Baci's legal team following his social media tirade against music executive Damilola "Dapper" Akinwunmi.
The controversy cocnerns royalty dispute between Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, T.I Blaze, and Dapper Music. During his public outburst against Akinwunmi—who is in a relationship with Baci—Seyi Vibez alleged that the label boss used catalogue funds to finance the chef's body enhancement surgery. He further claimed that eating food prepared by the Guinness World Record-holding chef "almost killed him".
According to reports covering the legal demand letter sent to Seyi Vibez, Baci’s lawyers described the posts as malicious, false, and defamatory, noting that the viral publications generated over 4.3 million views and subjected her to severe social media harassment.

Given a three-day deadline to comply or face court proceedings under Nigeria's Cybercrimes Act and libel laws, the singer promptly removed the offending tweets from his profile.
