Blaqbonez has finally broken his silence on the true origin of his bitter, multi-year conflict with fellow rapper Odumodublvck. Speaking during a video interview with broadcast journalist Rufai Oseni on the Nevon HQ podcast, Blaqbonez revealed that their ongoing rivalry stemmed from both artistes unknowingly dating the same woman at the same time.
According to Blaqbonez, he met the woman in 2023 and maintained a year-long, non-exclusive "friends with benefits" arrangement with her, completely unaware that she was simultaneously involved with Odumodublvck. The situation exploded after Odumodublvck confronted him over the phone, accusing him of "disturbing his babe" and demanding details about their intimate history.

“Odumodublvck and I were with a girl at the same time, but I didn't know she was with him too around the same time we met... Odumodublvck accused me on the phone of disturbing his babe. And I'm like how? I told him that I'm not disturbing your babe... Odumodublvck sent me a message five minutes after the call asking when last I had intercourse with her, and I told him, 'Bro, I don't know what she told you, so I can't answer this question'... Odumodublvck then said, 'Then we're enemies since you're not telling me.'”

In response to the fallout and public allegations, Blaqbonez confirmed that he has initiated a ₦2.55 billion lawsuit against Odumodublvck covering criminal defamation, harassment, and assault.
