Organisers Launch Ebonyi Next Superstar Reality Show With Ten Million Naira Grand Prize

A brand new talent hunt reality show called Ebonyi Next Superstar has been officially launched in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, to discover fresh talents. The exciting initiative is specially designed to provide a major platform for young creatives to showcase their skills in music and digital content creation. The organisers announced on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, that the grand competition will offer cash prizes and professional packages worth a whopping ten million naira to the top winners.
Speaking during the media unveiling event, the talent manager and popular movie director, Steve Rodstick Eze, explained that the maiden edition of the project will focus heavily on music and online content creation. He revealed that the entry registration is completely free for interested youths between the ages of 20 and 35, and the main stage will feature ten selected contestants inside a special house. The housemates will spend 20 days participating in different performance challenges like original song presentations, freestyle rap sessions, and independent content creation assignments.
Also speaking at the launch, a popular media personality in the state, Chinecherem Okoro, who fans well know as Utonwa of Ebonyi, described the initiative as a great opportunity to promote local talent. The organisers assured the public that the selected participants will receive proper branding, professional management support, and career development opportunities after the show. The main house phase of the Ebonyi Next Superstar reality show is officially scheduled to kick off on July 25, 2026.
