NANS Raises Concern Over Erratic Power Supply on Campuses
Omoyeni Olabode

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has lamented the persistent poor electricity supply across tertiary institutions in the country, saying the situation is affecting students’ academic activities and welfare.
The student body noted that unreliable power supply has made studying difficult for many students, particularly those who depend on electricity for reading at night, research, and the use of electronic devices needed for learning.
NANS urged the Federal Government and electricity distribution companies to address the situation urgently, stressing that improved power supply is essential for a conducive learning environment in universities and other higher institutions.
The association added that stable electricity would enhance academic productivity and reduce the challenges students face on campuses nationwide.
