Lady Gaga Sparks Speculation After Labubu Doll Disappears from Her Look

Lady Gaga’s latest ensemble for her Late Night with Seth Meyers appearance may have signalled a shift in her accessory game. Previously, she favoured a striking red-and-black Labubu doll, customised to mirror her "Abracadabra" costume by artist Marko Monroe, clipped to her Hermès Kelly bag.
Yet that signature charm was notably absent this time, as she embraced a monochromatic, all-black gothic-glam look, prompting curiosity about whether she’s distancing herself from the Labubu fad or simply on to her next bespoke collectible.
Still, the Labubu phenomenon is far from waning. A recent Labubu-themed rave drew a lively crowd in Los Angeles, where fans gathered under neon lights clutching their plush collectibles. A testament to the toy’s grip on pop culture as a symbol of escapism and community.
It seems that while Lady Gaga may be toning down this playful accessory for now, Labubu remains very much alive as a cultural trend. Perhaps, its future is just as enigmatic as its mischievous grin.
