Israel Says Any Iran Regime Leader Could Be Targeted for Assassination Amid Ongoing Conflict

Israel’s Defence Minister has warned that any leader appointed by the Iranian regime could be targeted for assassination if they continue to advance hostile actions against Israel and its allies. The statement came as tensions escalate following recent military operations involving the United States and Israel against Iranian targets, which have sharply increased regional instability.
The defence minister said Israel would act “with full force” alongside its American partners to dismantle Iran’s military capabilities and counter what it describes as threats to security, asserting that future Iranian leadership figures who pursue aggression would be “targets for elimination”.
The warning follows earlier strikes that reportedly decimated parts of Iran’s leadership structure, including senior military and defence officials, during the intensifying conflict. The situation marks one of the most serious escalations in hostilities between Israel and Iran in recent years, with global attention focused on the potential consequences for wider Middle East stability.
