‘I Was a Millionaire Before I Met Him’ — Paul Okoye’s Wife, Ivy Ifeoma, Rejects Gold Digger Label

Ivy Ifeoma, the wife of Nigerian music superstar Paul Okoye (popularly known as Rudeboy from the legendary P-Square duo), has hit back at critics who accuse her of marrying the singer for his money.

In a video shared via her TikTok page the lifestyle influencer and entrepreneur addressed the long-standing online narrative surrounding her relationship, explaining that she was financially independent long before her marriage.

“This is my take on the idea of marrying a rich man and before you come for me, know that I was a millionaire before I met this man [Paul Okoye],” Ivy declared, aiming to dismantle speculations fueled by the couple's notable age gap.

Ivy urged single ladies to completely re-evaluate their relationship goals. While she acknowledged that marrying into wealth is a "very good add-on" that can open doors, she strongly cautioned against making it a primary life objective because "at the end of the day, it is their money, not your money."
