‘I Can No Longer See With My Eyes’ – Fuji Star Remi Aluko Opens Up on Glaucoma Battle

Popular Nigerian Fuji musician, Aderemi Aluko (better known as Remi Aluko or "Igwe of Fuji"), has openly shared that he has completely lost his sight due to a long-running battle with glaucoma.

In a candid interview on Oyinmomo TV, the singer revealed the current reality of his condition, explaining that previous medical interventions have not stopped his vision from failing entirely.

Aluko explicitly stated that he can no longer see. He noted, “There's no difference between me and a blind person now,” confirming that despite undergoing eye surgery in the past, he is currently living with total blindness.

He mentioned that many people in the public and his fanbase remain unaware of the true extent of his condition because he continues to carry himself with confidence and handle his daily life like someone who can see.

The Fuji star emphasized that he makes a conscious effort not to let the situation weigh him down. He chooses to remain upbeat and focused rather than dwelling on the impairment, stating that he actively protects himself from falling into depression.
