The accomplished investment banker, CEO of NG Clearing Limited and cancer survivor, has become a cultural icon through his annual presence at the festival. His elegant entrance follows a family tradition and is a testament to his resilience—having overcome terminal cancers in 2014—and to his dedication to preserving Yoruba heritage .

His appearance once again highlighted broader concerns about festival infrastructure. Oreagba used the moment to urge local authorities to improve roads and lodging facilities in Ijebu‑Ode, saying that better infrastructure would enhance the festival’s stature and safeguard guests’ comfort and security .

For his vibrant contributions and cultural leadership, the National Council for Arts and Culture has recognized Oreagba as an Honorary Ambassador. His continued commitment not only enriches the Ojude Oba celebrations but also promotes Nigerian arts and culture on a national stage .
