Addressing recent internal discussions, Doguwa revealed that a significant majority of the party's stakeholders are firmly behind Garo’s selection. According to Doguwa, out of the 31 critical stakeholders involved in the decision-making process, 27 have officially endorsed Garo, signaling a robust consensus within the party’s upper echelons.
Doguwa emphasized that the nomination was not a unilateral decision but the result of extensive consultations aimed at ensuring party unity and electoral success. He noted that the high level of support—representing over 87% of the stakeholders—demonstrates a collective belief in Garo’s capacity to strengthen the ticket. Doguwa seeks to dispel rumors of division and reinforce the narrative of a focused and united APC ahead of the upcoming elections.
The endorsement a strategic move that consolidates the party's influence in Kano State, where internal cohesion is vital for navigating a competitive political landscape.
