The African Democratic Congress has announced the establishment of an international representatives network as part of efforts to expand its global reach and strengthen engagement with Nigerians in the diaspora.
The party disclosed that the initiative will cover key global cities, including Washington DC and London, with the aim of building a structured presence outside Nigeria.
According to the party, the network is designed to mobilise support, foster international partnerships and enhance its political influence ahead of future electoral cycles.
Officials explained that the move forms part of a broader strategy to reposition the party and connect more effectively with Nigerians abroad, whose contributions to national development remain significant.
The ADC noted that the representatives will serve as liaison points, coordinating activities, promoting the party’s agenda and facilitating engagement between the diaspora community and the party’s leadership in Nigeria.
The development shows growing efforts by political parties to tap into diaspora networks, particularly in major global cities, as they seek to broaden their base and strengthen international visibility.
