WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY

Wrestle it to the ground Part. 2
The more you pray, the less you’ll panic. The more you worship, the less you worry. You’ll feel more patient and less pressured. Rick Warren
We started looking at the subject called WORRY yesterday and we would continue on this subject for the next few days. Worry is certainly not of God. There is a major difference between worry or being concerned over a specific issue or issues. Worry is deadly and should be jettisoned. We shall be looking at few points that could help us operate outside worry zone.
Worry is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere. Erma Bombeck
Make your decision and never look back. Don’t stop to hesitate, to reconsider, or to retrace your steps. Once you’ve chosen a course of action, stick to it and never waver. Act decisively on your decision and walk away from any possible anxiety about the decision you have made.
Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength. Corrie Ten Boom
Brethren, it is difficult to live in and enjoy the moment when you are thinking about the past or worrying about the future. You cannot change your past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about your future. Cast your burdens upon the Lord, today.
