The Eagle Mentality Part 5
If you haven’t started, then taking action is more important than finding the best strategy. If you’re already taking action, then ensuring you’re working on the right thing is more important than working harder. Your effort sets your floor. Your strategy sets your ceiling. — James Clear
Without great solitude, no serious work is possible. Pablo Picasso. Self isolation can recharge your energy and hence boost your productivity. The human mind was designed to take breaks and recharge so one’s body can replenish itself. Without distraction and spending “alone time” allows you to clear your mind and think more clearly; your body also takes advantage of this time to revitalize and energize itself.
Solitary trees, if they grow at all, grow strong. Winston Churchill. By self isolating you are able to make smarter decisions because Solitude gives you the opportunity to think through every action you are about to take. You can be willing to stand for anything you want to commit yourself to. Solitude helps you find your own voice and your identity instead of following the pack; eagles don’t follow the pack, follow the way of an eagle today and see the change you will experience henceforth. You are unique don’t be a copy; you are original, stay on your lane.
Meditation is intermittent fasting for the mind. Too much sugar leads to a heavy body, and too many distractions lead to a heavy mind. Time spent undistracted and alone, in self examination, journaling, meditation, resolves the unresolved and takes us from mentally fat to fit. Naval Ravikant. Through solitude you can attack problems more effectively since no one is immune from the challenges of life. It is evident that through constant noise and distractions it becomes difficult to have a clear head as to what actions should be taken or which direction to go in life. Jesus often self isolate to have fellowship with His heavenly Father.
