WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY
Omoyeni Olabode

What are you called to do? Why are you here on earth? How important is God to you? What matters most to you? Do you know that faith that always chases after the things of the world is questionable? Do you know that when you start to seek the expansion and promotion of God’s Kingdom, you are operating in Bible-type of faith?
God does not pretend that you need things! However, those things will not come your way by your chasing after them. You must chase after God; you must be a God chaser. Goodness and mercy are compelled to follow you when He is your Shepherd. You are not called to chase after them; once you are following the Lord, they have been programmed to follow you.
Psalm 34:10 - The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing
Our Heavenly Father has good things in store for those who love Him, but where is your heart? The love of God in your heart determines the degree of results your faith will produce.
A number of people are discouraged in this faith walk because their hearts are not correctly positioned. They are centered on things rather than on God. Once your heart is right with God, all the other things you are searching for will be automatically added unto you according to Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
You are in a position today to make a quality decision to promote the Kingdom of God. Put in your energy, time and resources and everything with which you have been gifted.
Wise Saying
You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending

I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. I will speak forth the righteousness of God all the day long. I never bind a sister or brother with the words of my mouth. I am always a positive encouragement. I edify and build up; I never tear down or destroy. I declare the goodness of God upon me and my household. I pray for my country. I pray for my leaders. I seek the peace of Jerusalem.
