“Driven by Hunger” — Primate Ayodele Dismisses Clerical Endorsements for Tinubu’s 2027 Re-election Bid

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has strongly criticized Christian clerics who recently endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027, dismissing their backing as self-serving and void of divine direction.

In an official statement released through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the outspoken prophet cautioned President Tinubu against celebrating these public declarations, describing the endorsements as fake and motivated strictly by personal financial gain.

Primate Ayodele extended his critique beyond religious figures to political allies who are currently pledging early allegiance to the administration, warning that political loyalty remains fickle when driven by personal interest. He noted that many politicians praising the president today would readily withdraw support and endorse an alternative candidate if their demands go unmet.
Advising the administration on its approach to the upcoming election cycle, the cleric stressed that political declarations cannot substitute for tangible governance outcomes. He urged President Tinubu to ignore flattering endorsements, focus on addressing national challenges, and let his administration's performance determine his electoral standing ahead of 2027.
