Bible passage

Premise of thoughts

We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.

In Jeremiah 29:11, it was evident that God began from the premise of thought and His thought for us are thought of peace and not of evil to give us an expected end or to give us a future. Successful people think differently than average people. Successful people think big thoughts. Success only happens when you train your mind to think big, positive thoughts. Let us look at this five principles of positive thinking together and reach our greatest potential.

Concentrate on your assets. Successful people do not dwell on their weaknesses. They focus on their strengths. Use positive words. Positive words build a positive life. Fill your life with as many positive words as you can think of. Then grow your vocabulary to include more! Enlarge your vision. If your vision for your life does not stretch you and seem like a challenge to reach then you will never enjoy the success that could be yours.

Realize the importance of your job. When you think of your job as one that has importance and meaning and when you realize where your job will take you, life takes on a much greater meaning. Find the reasons why your job matters. Focus on your objectives. Too often our minds want to focus on the problems we are encountering. We think that by focusing on the problems we will solve them. Not true.
