WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY

Really!

Yes, really! God can heal your appetite. Bread is a second cause; the LORD Himself is the first source of our sustenance. He can work without the second cause as well as with it; and we must not tie Him down to one mode of operation. Let us not be too eager after the visible, but let us look to the invisible God.

Appetite has really become an artificial and abnormal thing, having taken the place of true hunger, which alone is natural. The one is a sign of bondage but the other, of freedom. God healing your appetite could be the most exciting venture you have ever experienced in life. God controls the universe and God is bigger than your appetite. The fat body must fall in line. Romans 6:12,16 - Do not let sin (appetite) control your puny body any longer; do not give in to its sinful desires. Don't you realise that you can choose your own master? You can choose sin (food) (with death) (fat) or else obedience (with acquittal) (or obedience with a weight loss). The one to whom you offer yourself - he will take you and be your master, and you will be his slave.

More often than not, expecting to lose weight without first losing the diet that made the weight loss necessary is like expecting a pig to be spotless after hosing it down while it was still rolling in mud.

Mathew 26:41 - Watch and Pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Think how true this is. How many times do we pass by a store that has some real sugar goodies in it, and we discover that we have fallen into temptation? May we cooperate with the Holy Spirit in such situations to pass the test, AMEN.
