WORD OF GOD FOR TODAY

For His Kingdom Sake
The only way the kingdom of God is going to be manifest in this world before Christ comes is if we manifest it by the way we live as citizens of heaven and subjects of the King. The seeking of the kingdom of God is the chief business of the Christian life. It is not what we do that matters, but what a sovereign God chooses to do through us. God doesn't want our success; He wants us. He doesn't demand our achievements; He demands our obedience. The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of paradox, where through the ugly defeat of a cross, a holy God is utterly glorified. Victory comes through defeat; healing through brokenness; finding self through losing self.
Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. The master key to receiving from God is to seek first His kingdom, or His way of doing and being right. When you make a quality decision to put His Kingdom first, you live a life that is utterly dedicated and committed to the good of the house of God. His Kingdom must be the first priority in your life then the things you desire will be added unto you.
Where your heart is, determines the position in which God places you. When you are seeking God's Kingdom first, every kingdom issue moves you - not so that others can see what you are doing, but because that is where your heart is. Do not withhold from God because He gave you what you possess today in the first instance; do not try to be smarter than God, because you cannot be smarter than Him. You are the creature and He is the Creator, the creature cannot be greater than the Creator.
Your heart is what connects you to God. Let your heart become truly connected so that blessings will rain down and you can begin to make progress in life.
Wise Saying
Christians were never meant to be normal. We've always been holy troublemakers, and the Kingdom of God is different from the patterns of this world
