"Why Your Papa No Hustle?" – Davido Blasts T-Dot Over "Daddy’s Boy" Comment

Davido

Nigerian music superstar Davido has once again proven he will not take any insults regarding his family background lightly.

The clash began when T-Dot made comments suggesting that Davido’s success was largely tied to his father’s immense wealth rather than his own hard work. In a swift and scathing response, Davido dismissed the criticism, questioning why T-Dot’s own father did not achieve a similar level of success to provide for his children. "Why your papa no hustle?" Davido fired back, asserting that being born into wealth should not be used as a weapon to diminish his personal professional achievements.
Davido has long faced the "silver spoon" narrative throughout his decade-long career, but he has consistently argued that his work ethic is what has kept him at the top of the global music charts.

Do you think Davido’s response was a fair defense of his family's success, or was his "why your papa no hustle" comment an unnecessary jab at those from less privileged backgrounds? Share your comments below!
