“We Are Ready to Take Over” — Action Peoples Party Declares

The Action Peoples Party (APP) in Imo State has declared its complete readiness to contest and capture key elective positions across the state during the upcoming 2027 general elections. Speaking on the party’s strategic preparations, Imo State APP Chairman Ernest Njesi asserted that the political platform has built formidable grassroots structures and mobilised support across all 27 local government areas of the state to challenge the dominance of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Njesi highlighted that the recent influx of prominent political figures, grassroots mobilisers, and opposition lawmakers into the party’s fold has significantly strengthened its competitive edge, positioning the APP as a major political force capable of presenting credible alternatives to the electorate in 2027.
