Tinubu is the 'Owner of the Game', Needs a School of Politics – Reuben Abati

Dr. Reuben Abati has showered accolades on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the smooth and organized conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) nationwide primary elections. Abati described the President as a master strategist who understands the core mechanics of Nigerian politics better than his contemporaries.
Reflecting on how the ruling party managed to hold its National Assembly and presidential primary exercises with minimal friction, Abati noted that Tinubu's signature leadership style was evident throughout the process. He argued that the strategic use of consensus arrangements and direct mobilization effectively neutralized internal party conflicts before they could escalate into full-blown crises.
The journalist remarked that the President’s tactical execution makes him the undisputed "owner of the game" when it comes to grassroots networking and political maneuvering in Nigeria.
“Tinubu is the owner of the game. He understands the arithmetic and the geography of Nigerian politics. In fact, he should start a school of politics and strategy to teach others how it is done,” Abati stated during the broadcast.
Do you agree with Reuben Abati that President Tinubu operates on a completely different level of political strategy? Please drop your comments below!
