Rivers State Assembly Moves to Impeach Governor Fubara as Crisis Deepens

The political tension in Rivers State has reached a boiling point as the State House of Assembly officially began impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara. During a rowdy session on Friday morning, the lawmakers loyal to the former governor and current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, moved a motion to serve an impeachment notice on the Governor.
