Rio Ferdinand Picks Three Top Managers to Replace Sacked Ruben Amorim

Ruben Amorim

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has wasted no time in suggesting three potential managers the club should hire following the sudden sack of Ruben Amorim. Speaking on his popular YouTube channel, Ferdinand expressed his disappointment with the team's recent direction but insisted that the board must act fast to save the season. The former defender believes that the next appointment will define the future of the club for years to come. He urged the leadership at Old Trafford to look for a personality who can handle the immense pressure and high expectations of the Manchester United fan base.

The first name on Ferdinand's list is former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, who has been without a club since his second stint in Spain. Ferdinand argued that Zidane has the "aura" and the winning track record needed to manage big egos in the dressing room. He noted that Zidane’s ability to win three consecutive Champions League titles proves he can handle elite competition. According to the former United captain, the French legend is exactly the type of high profile coach who can command immediate respect from the players and restore a winning culture.

Ferdinand also suggested that the club should consider Thomas Tuchel as a strong candidate for the vacant role. He pointed out that Tuchel is a tactical genius who understands the English Premier League very well from his successful time at Chelsea. Ferdinand believes that the German manager's disciplined approach and defensive organization could fix the current leaks in the Manchester United backline. For the third option, he mentioned Inter Milan's Simone Inzaghi, praising his consistent performance in Italy and his ability to build a team that is both solid at the back and dangerous on the counter attack.

As the search for a permanent replacement begins, Ferdinand warned that the club cannot afford another "project" manager who needs too much time to settle. He emphasized that the supporters are tired of waiting for results and want a manager who can deliver trophies immediately. While the board considers its options, several other names have been linked with the job, but Ferdinand’s choices have already started a massive debate among the Red Devils faithful. The coming days will be crucial as the club decides who will lead them into the next era.
