PUBLIC STATEMENT CONDEMNING THE KIDNAPPING OF JAMB STUDENTS IN BENUE STATE

Olamilekan Boluwatife

Benue Kidnap

On behalf of Wisdom House Charitable Trust Fund, we strongly condemn the heartbreaking kidnapping of students reportedly travelling for their JAMB examination in Benue State yesterday.
It is painful and unacceptable that young Nigerians seeking education and a better future must now live in fear while pursuing their dreams. No parent should have to worry whether a child will return home safely after going to write an examination. No student should have to face trauma simply for trying to learn and progress in life.
This incident once again highlights the worsening state of insecurity across our nation. The continued attacks, kidnappings, and threats to innocent citizens have become a national emergency that can no longer be ignored.
We respectfully but firmly call on the Federal Government, security agencies, and all relevant authorities to take urgent and decisive action. Nigerians deserve to feel safe in their homes, on the roads, in schools, and in every part of the country.
We demand immediate efforts toward the safe rescue of the affected students and stronger measures to prevent such tragedies from reoccurring.
Our hearts are with the victims, their families, and every citizen living under the weight of fear and uncertainty. Nigeria can and must do better.
Enough is enough. The time to act is now.

Signed
