Spiritual leader Primate Elijah Ayodele, head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has unveiled a wide-ranging set of prophecies for 2026, stirring public conversation and debate. At a press briefing in Lagos, Ayodele shared what he described as divine revelations covering political tensions, national security threats, economic challenges, and leadership concerns for Nigeria in the coming year. His pronouncements mention figures including President Bola Tinubu, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, and detained Indigenous People of Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu among others.
Among his most attention-grabbing predictions are warnings of potential coup threats or destabilisation attempts, advising that Nigeria’s security architecture could face betrayal from within and urging vigilance and prayer to avert unconstitutional power struggles. Ayodele also forecast that some prominent northern leaders would oppose President Tinubu, and that internal divisions could deepen political fault lines.
The cleric further addressed the political futures of key figures, advising that Atiku Abubakar should prepare for blackmail attempts, suggesting that opposition forces might use negative tactics against him. On Nnamdi Kanu, Ayodele’s broader spiritual commentary touched on national unity challenges and the tensions surrounding the Southeast of Nigeria, though specific direct predictions about Kanu’s legal situation were included more in past statements than in this 2026 forecast.
Beyond politics, Ayodele warned of economic hardship, protests linked to government policy responses, and security instabilities, projecting a year of trials for Nigerians as leaders navigate complex governance and social expectations. What do you think about these prophetic claims and their potential influence on public perception ahead of 2026? Comment below and share your thoughts.
