British pop singer Lauren Bennett, celebrated for her vocals on LMFAO's historic 2011 global hit "Party Rock Anthem" and her prominent work with the girl group G.R.L., has tragically passed away at the age of 37. The heartbreaking news was officially confirmed on Monday by her former G.R.L. bandmates, Natasha Slayton, Emmalyn Estrada, and Paula van Oppen, who shared an emotional joint tribute on social media.

Born in Kent, England, Bennett’s rise to global pop prominence began in the late 2000s when she was discovered by Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin and cast in the multinational group, Paradiso Girls. Following the group's disbandment, she cemented her place in pop culture history by featuring on LMFAO's diamond-certified mega-hit "Party Rock Anthem," which topped charts worldwide and remains one of the most successful songs of all time. She later became a founding member of G.R.L., scoring massive international hits like "Ugly Heart" and the Pitbull collaboration "Wild Wild Love."

"Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us. Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved."
Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton, and Paula van Oppen (G.R.L.)

Her passing is the second profound tragedy for G.R.L., following the heartbreaking loss of group member Simone Battle in 2014. While news of Bennett's passing wasn't widely reported until her bandmates' public announcement on Monday, statements from close friends, including former Paradiso Girls member Aria Crescendo, indicate that she passed away in late May 2026. Bennett leaves behind a six-year-old daughter, Harlow, whom she shared with her long-term partner, Footloose actor and dancer Kenny Wormald. An official cause of death has not yet been disclosed to the public.
