Osun Indigents Receive 1,600 Bags of Rice from Tinubu for Ramadan, Lent

President Bola Tinubu has donated 1,600 bags of rice to indigent residents in Osun State as part of efforts to support vulnerable citizens during the ongoing Ramadan and Lenten fasting periods.
The intervention is aimed at easing hardship and providing relief to less-privileged individuals across the state, in line with the spirit of charity and compassion associated with both religious observances.
The distribution forms part of a broader initiative targeted at assisting Nigerians during significant religious seasons. The programme underscores the administration’s emphasis on inclusiveness, ensuring that both Muslim and Christian communities benefit from such interventions.
The rice donation is expected to be distributed to beneficiaries across various communities in Osun, with a focus on reaching the most vulnerable groups.
The gesture reflects ongoing efforts by the Federal Government to cushion the effects of economic challenges, particularly during periods marked by fasting, reflection and increased communal support.
