Bolaji Ogunmola

Popular Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has expressed her deep frustration with a Nigerian airline after experiencing several flight delays and an eventual cancellation in Ekiti State. Taking to her social media, the actress shared her bad experience, explaining how the situation disrupted her important work schedules and personal plans. She described the treatment from the airline as unprofessional and unfair to passengers who pay for their services. Because of this, she has threatened to take the matter to court to demand justice for the stress and losses she suffered.

The actress revealed that she was in Ekiti for an engagement and had booked a flight to return to her base. However, she was left stranded at the airport for hours without proper communication or an apology from the airline staff. According to her, the flight was delayed multiple times before it was finally canceled, leaving her and many other passengers in a difficult situation. Bolaji argued that airlines in Nigeria have developed a habit of treating customers poorly without facing any consequences, and she is now ready to use the law to hold them accountable.6

Many of her fans and colleagues have reacted to the news, with several people sharing their own stories of similar experiences with domestic airlines in Nigeria. They encouraged her to follow through with the lawsuit, stating that it is time for airline companies to respect the rights of their passengers. Some commenters noted that these frequent cancellations and delays are becoming a major problem for the tourism and entertainment industries, as people can no longer rely on flight schedules to attend events or meetings.

Bolaji Ogunmola has stated that her move is not just about her own experience, but about standing up for every Nigerian who has been cheated by poor airline services. She is currently consulting with her legal team to decide the next steps. For now, the actress is demanding a full refund and compensation for the damages caused by the airline’s failure to fulfill its promise.

What do you think about Bolaji Ogunmola’s plan to sue the airline? Do you think it will stop airlines from canceling flights anyhow? Tell us in the comments.
