Nicki Minaj Reveals Why She Stopped Attending Church

Global rap superstar Nicki Minaj has opened up about the personal reasons behind her departure from regular church attendance, clarifying that her absence has nothing to do with a loss of faith.
Speaking further on her headline-making appearance during the 200th episode of The Bryce Crawford Podcast, she explained that the relentless demands of her skyrocketing music career simply made traditional Sunday service impossible to maintain.
Minaj revealed that as her brand grew, her weekend schedule became heavily packed with grueling nighttime obligations, leaving her physically drained by the time Sunday morning arrived.
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” Minaj explained.
The rapper emphasized that her decision to step away from physical church buildings was purely a result of her work routine rather than an ideological shift or structural disagreement with the faith. She maintained that stepping outside the four walls of a conventional chapel did not mean abandoning her spiritual core.
What are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj's perspective on balancing a demanding career with personal faith? Do you agree that a strong relationship with God can be maintained without regular church attendance? Please share your views in the comments section below!
