Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Daniels, mother of actress Regina Daniels, has publicly accused her son-in-law, Ned Nwoko, of using her daughter’s finances to support his political ambitions. In a video posted online, Rita said: “My daughter supported your election with $50,000,” and added that all her resources were channelled into his senatorial campaign.
Rita further said that Nwoko aimed to “boost his fallen star” by marrying Regina, whom she described as someone with high public appeal. She asserted that Regina’s contributions have been misinterpreted as gold-digging, and accused Nwoko of trying to “bite the finger that fed you.”
In addition to the financial claims, Rita alleged that Nwoko had ordered the arrest of two of her children and paid police officers to assault them, raising serious concerns about family safety and legal violations.
