Mr Real Slams Idowest Over Ownership Of Hit Song Legbegbe

Idowest

Nigerian street-hop artist Mr Real, has blasted his colleague, Idowest, for claiming ownership of the 2018 hit track titled Legbegbe. The big argument started after Idowest claimed during a recent live stream with content creator Carter Efe that he originally wrote and owned the popular song. Idowest stated that he only featured Mr Real on the track as his boy in the hood, while also threatening to physically beat up the singer.

Reacting heavily in a new video broadcast on Saturday, June 20, 2026, Mr Real declared that Idowest told a big lie during the live interview. The singer insisted that he is the original and true owner of the street anthem which made waves during the Shaku Shaku dance era. He also accepted Idowest's challenge for a public fight, stating that he is Idowest's senior brother and would easily defeat him in any match.

Mr Real further mocked Idowest, alleging that the rapper was recently deported from the United States of America. He advised his colleague to focus heavily on promoting his music career instead of downgrading others and claiming songs that do not belong to him.
