King Ochacho Refutes Claims That ₦400m House Gift to Peller Was for Son’s Music Promotion

Nigerian billionaire real estate mogul King Ochacho, has firmly dismissed online rumors suggesting that his gift of a ₦400 million mansion to social media creator Habeeb Hamzat (Peller) was tied to an agreement to promote his son's music career.
Addressing the ongoing speculation at an All-White Lifestyle event in Lagos on Sunday, September 21, 2026, the businessman expressed disappointment over narratives published by various bloggers. He clarified that the decision to gift the house to Peller and his partner, Jarvis, during their traditional wedding was a spontaneous act of personal generosity rather than a transactional business deal.

“When I saw them, I decided to bless them with a house with no responsibility. The house I gave to Peller, I didn't give him the house to come and start advertising my son. No. It's not because of my son's music. I just gave it to him from my heart.”

The real estate entrepreneur also noted that the property is currently under construction, adding that he decided to contribute an additional ₦100 million to fully furnish the home after seeing Peller voluntarily support his son, aspiring artist Ice King, without any prompt or contractual requirement.
