"I Won't Live in Bondage": Rosy Meurer Slams Critics Amid Churchill and Tonto Dikeh’s Reunion

Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has issued a fiery response to critics following the recent public reconciliation between her husband, Olakunle Churchill, and his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh. In a series of Instagram posts on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, the actress made it clear that while she is currently happy and being treated well, she is not afraid to walk away if she ever becomes uncomfortable in her marriage. "You think I will live in bondage and be quiet and die inside?" she asked, adding that if circumstances ever changed, she would leave without the influence of social media "fools."
Addressing long-standing allegations that she "snatched" Churchill from Tonto Dikeh, Meurer categorically denied ever being Dikeh’s friend or personal assistant. She challenged critics to provide proof of their supposed friendship, stating that she and Tonto have never met, spoken, or shared contact details. She also addressed an old video where she had referred to the former couple as "family friends," claiming she was pressured by a PR team at the time because she was "young and naive," but insisted that she is now "older and wiser" and telling her own truth.
The actress concluded her vent by warning trolls that their "evil" comments would not dictate her reality or her happiness. She maintained that she is in her marriage by choice and remains secure in her relationship despite the viral family photos of her husband and his ex-wife. As the high-profile co-parenting dynamic between Churchill and Tonto Dikeh takes a positive turn, Meurer seems determined to draw a firm line between their family growth and the "trash" narratives she says are being peddled online.
Do you think Rosy Meurer is right to publicly set boundaries, or does her reaction suggest the Tonto-Churchill reunion is affecting her more than she admits? Share your comments below!
