Nigerian comedian Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess, has made a public plea to religious leaders across the country to help her find a husband. In a video shared on her social media pages on Monday, January 12, 2026, the veteran entertainer expressed deep frustration with her prolonged single status, stating, "I am single and I am tired." Addressing prominent Nigerian pastors, she urged them to look within their congregations for a suitable partner, adding that she is ready for a serious commitment and a stable home.

The comedian specifically called on the "men of God" to act as matchmakers, suggesting that the church environment might offer the kind of responsible men she is seeking. "I am appealing to our daddies in the Lord," she said. "If you have any single man in your church who is serious and looking for a wife, please mention my name to him. I am tired of this single life; it is not easy." Princess, whose previous marriage in 2013 ended just two weeks after the ceremony, has been largely private about her romantic life until this recent outburst.

Princess concluded her appeal by emphasizing that she is not looking for a "perfect" man but someone who is kind, understanding, and ready to build a life together.
